Zirconia Roller Three Roll Mill (also named ceramic zirconia three roll grinding machine) is a professional ultra-fine grinding and dispersion equipment tailored for high-viscosity paste and slurry materials, serving as a core refining solution for industrial formulation manufacturers and fine chemical production plants. The three rollers are made of premium cold-hard alloy zirconia material, manufactured with precision convex grinding technology to ensure uniform pressure distribution during operation. This pigment refinement three roll mill relies on strong shear force generated by three horizontally arranged rollers rotating at different speeds in opposite directions. The slow roller and medium roller form a feeding gap, while the medium roller and fast roller form a high-precision grinding gap. When materials pass through the tiny gaps between adjacent rollers, they are subjected to extreme shear, extrusion and friction forces, which effectively break up agglomerated particles, achieve uniform dispersion and ultra-fine size reduction. The convex design of the rollers enables automatic wear compensation through the rigidity and thermal expansion and contraction of the rollers during operation, extending service life and maintaining consistent grinding precision.

Zirconia alloy rollers have exceptional hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The precision convex grinding design realizes automatic wear compensation during operation, greatly extending roller service life and maintaining stable grinding efficiency for a long time.
It is specially designed for high-viscosity paste materials difficult to circulate in sand mills, with no blockage risk during operation, and can handle materials with high toughness and hardness through adjustable grinding passes and roller gaps.
This ultra-fine three roll grinder is widely used in industrial production plants in the following industries: paint and ink manufacturing, pigment and color paste refining, cosmetics and personal care product production, pharmaceutical and food paste processing, plastic and cable material manufacturing, leather and rubber processing, soap and daily chemical production, and ceramic slurry refining. Install the mill on a stable horizontal foundation, calibrate the parallelism of the three rollers, connect the power supply and lubrication system, and run a no-load test to confirm correct roller rotation direction and flexible gap adjustment before formal production.
Check roller surface condition, gap adjustment system and lubrication status before startup. Adjust roller gap according to material properties and target fineness, feed materials evenly and continuously, and set grinding passes according to material inlet particle size.
Clean the roller surface thoroughly after each operation to avoid material curing; regularly inspect roller surface for wear and damage, repair or replace timely; lubricate bearings and transmission parts periodically; calibrate roller parallelism regularly to ensure consistent grinding precision.
Through 3 passes of grinding, the equipment can stably achieve a minimum final particle size of 3 microns, and single-pass grinding can achieve uniform fineness of 10-18 microns, fully meeting the refining needs of most high-viscosity paste materials.
This standard ceramic zirconia three roll grinding machine is not suitable for raw materials that cause corrosion to zirconia alloy rollers. We can provide customized roller material solutions for special material processing needs of production enterprises.
