Vacuum system: -0.09Mpa, equipped with vacuum pump, buffer tank, and metal hose

Emission: Screw emission, with manual ball valve DN200

Safety limit switch: Once the lid is opened, the mixer will stop working

Shaft seal: shaft seal packing combination sealing box, easy to replace packing, using PTFE packing and PTFE seal

Product Overview

The Z Blade Sigma Mixer (also known as double arm sigma kneader) is a heavy-duty industrial kneading equipment, specially designed for uniform mixing, kneading, emulsification and homogenization of ultra-high viscosity materials. This professional kneading mixer is built for high-load continuous industrial production, with customizable configurations to meet complex processing demands of tough, high-viscosity materials that conventional mixing equipment cannot handle.

Working Principle

This ultra viscosity kneading mixer adopts a classic double Z-shaped blade structure, with two sigma blades rotating reversely at differential speeds in a closed mixing chamber. During operation, the blades continuously squeeze, shear, stretch, fold and knead the material, forcing the material to achieve full and uniform mixing even at extremely high viscosity. The equipment is equipped with a jacketed mixing chamber for heating or cooling, and a high-performance vacuum system to remove air bubbles and volatile components during kneading, ensuring the stability and purity of the final product.

Installation, Operation & Maintenance Guide

Installation & Foundation Requirements

Install the equipment on a heavy-duty reinforced concrete foundation that can withstand the full load of the machine, fix it with anchor bolts, and ensure the levelness of the frame is within 0.5mm/m. Check the blade gap and rotation direction before commissioning.

Safe Operation Protocols

Close and lock the chamber lid before starting the machine, confirm the safety switch is functioning properly, then start the main motor at low speed first, gradually increasing to the set speed. Do not open the lid during operation, and stop the machine immediately in case of abnormal noise or vibration.

Preventive Maintenance

Regularly check the blade gap and wear condition every month, replace the PTFE sealing packing every 6 months, inspect the jacket pressure and vacuum system integrity weekly, and clean the mixing chamber thoroughly after each production batch to avoid cross-contamination.
