The Z Blade Sigma Mixer (also known as double arm sigma kneader) is a heavy-duty industrial kneading equipment, specially designed for uniform mixing, kneading, emulsification and homogenization of ultra-high viscosity materials. This professional kneading mixer is built for high-load continuous industrial production, with customizable configurations to meet complex processing demands of tough, high-viscosity materials that conventional mixing equipment cannot handle.
This ultra viscosity kneading mixer adopts a classic double Z-shaped blade structure, with two sigma blades rotating reversely at differential speeds in a closed mixing chamber. During operation, the blades continuously squeeze, shear, stretch, fold and knead the material, forcing the material to achieve full and uniform mixing even at extremely high viscosity. The equipment is equipped with a jacketed mixing chamber for heating or cooling, and a high-performance vacuum system to remove air bubbles and volatile components during kneading, ensuring the stability and purity of the final product.

The loop jacket design supports multiple heating methods (steam, electric, oil, water) and water cooling, with precise temperature control for sensitive material processing. The high-vacuum system effectively removes volatile impurities and air bubbles, improving product density and performance.
Equipped with a safety limit switch that stops the machine immediately when the chamber lid is opened, ensuring operator safety. The combined shaft seal box uses PTFE packing and seals, which is easy to replace and maintain, reducing downtime for industrial production lines.
This double arm Z blade sigma mixer is widely used for mixing and kneading of low to ultra-high viscosity products across multiple industrial sectors, including silicone rubber, sealants, ceramics, chewing gum, candy, bakery food, pharmaceuticals, carbon paste, inks, pigments, resins, bulk molding compounds and clay. It is also the preferred equipment for high-precision electronic material and new energy material production.
Install the equipment on a heavy-duty reinforced concrete foundation that can withstand the full load of the machine, fix it with anchor bolts, and ensure the levelness of the frame is within 0.5mm/m. Check the blade gap and rotation direction before commissioning.
Close and lock the chamber lid before starting the machine, confirm the safety switch is functioning properly, then start the main motor at low speed first, gradually increasing to the set speed. Do not open the lid during operation, and stop the machine immediately in case of abnormal noise or vibration.
Regularly check the blade gap and wear condition every month, replace the PTFE sealing packing every 6 months, inspect the jacket pressure and vacuum system integrity weekly, and clean the mixing chamber thoroughly after each production batch to avoid cross-contamination.
