Based on the above, what equipment is needed for producing hot melt adhesive? What is the process flow? This mainly depends on the storage shape of the hot melt adhesive.
In the entire production process of hot melt adhesive, the base material production process of hot melt adhesive is generally carried out using reaction vessels or kneading machines, and heating, cooling, and vacuuming are carried out according to the different process formulas of different types of hot melt adhesive. But after the base material is completed, the shape of the hot melt adhesive to be made depends on the supporting equipment. What equipment is required for the entire production line to produce different forms of hot melt adhesive
1. Hot melt adhesive (block):
Reaction kettle (or kneading machine), mixing storage tank (optional), coarse filter, high viscosity pump, fine filter, roller conveyor, heating system, vacuum system, etc.
Hot melt adhesive (granular):
Reaction kettle (or kneading machine+stirring storage tank), coarse filter, high viscosity pump, fine filter, discharge die (or extruder), cooling water tank, traction granulator, vibrating screen, vibrating fluidized bed, cyclone separator heating system, vacuum system, etc.
Hot melt adhesive (strip):
Reaction kettle (or kneading machine+stirring storage tank), coarse filter, high viscosity pump, fine filter, screw extruder, cooling water tank, traction cutting machine, heating system, vacuum system, etc.

Manufacturing process of hot melt adhesive stick:
1. Weigh the raw materials according to the proportion of the hot melt adhesive stick formula and add them to the reaction kettle. Heat up to melt and stir evenly. Then cool the melted rubber material in the reaction kettle to a certain temperature and put it into the running extruder. The extrusion speed of the extruder can be selected according to the different types of rubber. The extruder squeezes the hot melt adhesive into the water tank through a circular extrusion hole on the extruder head. The hot melt adhesive immediately solidifies when it encounters cooling water. The adhesive rod undergoes preliminary cooling and shaping through the first cooling water tank and is pulled into the second cooling water tank by the tractor. In the second cooling water tank, the adhesive sample is fully cooled and shaped. The running speed of the adhesive rod in the water tank is controlled by the extrusion speed of the extruder, so that the traction speed of the tractor is synchronized with the extrusion speed of the extruder.
2. Adjust and control the relationship between extrusion speed, cooling and shaping speed, and traction speed, and then cut and pack the cooled rubber rod into finished products.

Operation method of hot melt adhesive stick: The hot melt adhesive stick is used in conjunction with the adhesive gun. Use the hot melt adhesive gun to apply adhesive, place the adhesive stick into the hot melt gun, plug it into the electric heater for a while, and pull the trigger to release the adhesive from the gun barrel. You can also directly use a lighter to burn one end of the hot melt adhesive stick, apply it to the area to be glued, and wait for the adhesive to solidify. Adhesive paper boxes, handicrafts, handmade crafts, etc. are both convenient and easy to use, and are more firmly bonded than ordinary adhesives.
1. The hot melt adhesive stick assembly line should be operated by trained and experienced personnel. Generally, the main machine is not allowed to operate without heating or adding materials to avoid scratches on the screw and barrel. In the event of a power outage and shutdown, if there is material inside the barrel, it should not be restarted. The screw should be heated to the specified temperature before restarting to avoid twisting the screw and damaging the gearbox, which could cause accidents.
2. High temperature lubricating grease (moC2) should be added to the thrust bearings on schedule, and the gearbox should be regularly inspected and new gear oil should be replenished when needed to ensure the normal operation and service life of the machine.
3. When mixing and processing raw materials in cold mixing, attention should be paid to: the raw materials should be clean and free of debris, and precautions should be taken to prevent metal, sand, small tools, and other impurities from mixing into the raw materials, damaging the machine and affecting the quality of the product. If any equipment abnormalities are found during the production process, the machine should be stopped for inspection and repair.
4. Traction cooling unit
In the production of rubber bars, from extrusion to traction stage, the traction machine should be adjusted to synchronize with the extrusion volume to ensure uniform thickness of the rubber bars. Oil and cooling water pumps should be regularly added to the seams and checked regularly. The cooling water should be replaced regularly to maintain cleanliness. Electrical appliances should not be adjusted up or down suddenly to prevent motor imbalance.
5. Cutting machine
When operating the cutting machine, oil should be added to each transmission part to ensure smooth transmission. Special attention should be paid to the safety of operators near the cutting tool.
