Kneading machine is a key equipment for processing high viscosity elastoplastic materials such as silicone rubber, butyl rubber, hot melt adhesive, etc. It is widely used in chemical, rubber, sealant, construction, automotive and other fields. 1、 Application characteristics of silicone rubber kneading machine
Silicone rubber has the characteristics of high viscosity and high elasticity, making it difficult for ordinary mixing equipment to achieve uniform mixing. The silicone rubber kneading machine adopts a ∑ - or Z-type stirring blade, which generates strong shear force through biaxial non-uniform rotation to ensure sufficient kneading and dispersion of the material.
The equipment is usually equipped with a vacuum system (with a vacuum degree of up to 0.094MPa), which effectively removes bubbles, improves product density and transparency. The heating methods are mostly electric heating or jacket heat transfer oil heating, with high temperature control accuracy, suitable for laboratory and industrial production.

Butyl rubber belongs to high viscosity adhesive slurry, with a processing viscosity of up to 10 ⁵ -10 ⁶, and requires support from a high torque transmission system. The special kneading machine for butyl rubber adopts a four stage reduction structure (motor reducer gear set) to achieve low-speed and high torque output of 5-25r/min, ensuring mixing efficiency.
The main discharge method is screw extrusion, which solves the problems of material residue and raw material accumulation in traditional flipping cylinder discharge.
The application areas include hollow glass sealing tape, automotive seals, building waterproof materials, and mixing of photovoltaic module packaging film base materials.
3、 Technical adaptation of hot melt adhesive kneading machine
Hot melt adhesive is solid at room temperature and turns into a liquid flowing when heated, but its viscosity is extremely high and requires specialized equipment for mixing. The hot melt adhesive kneading machine adopts a differential transmission mechanism and a helical gear meshing design, forming an efficient shear force field and promoting uniform plasticization of materials.
Due to the inability of hot melt adhesive to be poured out through a flipping cylinder, screw extrusion is commonly used for discharge, which is synchronized with the main motor to ensure continuous and stable discharge.
The device supports multiple temperature control modes such as jacket steam, thermal oil heating, and water cooling, meeting the process requirements of different formulations such as EVA type and butyl hot melt adhesive.
