The horizontal screw belt mixer is applied to the mixing of solid (i.e. powder to powder) and solid slurry (i.e. powder to slurry) of putty paste, real stone paint, dry powder, putty, plastic, food, chemicals, feed, organic fertilizers, ceramics, refractory materials, etc., especially suitable for the mixing of viscous materials.

The dry powder screw belt mixer achieves efficient and uniform mixing of powder materials through a unique screw belt structure and motion mode. The core principle is to use the reverse rotation of inner and outer double-layer (or three-layer) spiral blades to form a composite motion of convection, shear, and eddy current, so that the material can reach a highly uniform state in a short period of time.
1、 Basic structural composition
The dry powder screw belt mixer mainly consists of the following parts:
U-shaped long cylinder: provides low resistance material movement space and reduces friction loss during the mixing process.
Mixing spindle and spiral blade: an inner and outer double-layer spiral belt installed on the same horizontal axis, arranged in both forward and reverse directions, driving the material to perform axial and radial composite motion.
Transmission system: The cycloidal pinwheel reducer is usually driven by an electric motor, and the belt transmission has overload protection function to improve equipment safety.
Inlet and outlet system: The top inlet is convenient for feeding, and the bottom is equipped with pneumatic gate or butterfly valve to achieve fast and residue free discharge.

Convective mixing mechanism
The outer spiral blades gather the material from both sides of the cylinder towards the center;
The inner spiral blades push the material from the center to both sides;
The two interact in reverse to form a continuous axial circulation flow, breaking the material stratification phenomenon.
Eddy current and shear enhancement
Spiral motion generates multiple vortices in the material, increasing the collision frequency between particles;
The shear force between the screw belt and the cylinder wall can effectively break down the agglomerated powder, improve the mixing accuracy, and is especially suitable for materials that are prone to clumping.
Three-dimensional composite motion
The material not only moves axially, but also undergoes radial rolling due to the lifting effect of the screw belt;
Axial propulsion and radial rolling overlap to form a cyclic path of "spiral ascent gravity descent", achieving three-dimensional mixing.
