Product Description

A horizontal sand mill is a device that pumps the material (fluid) to be ground into a static grinding chamber with a jacket through a pneumatic diaphragm pump. A special separation device separates the dispersed material from the grinding medium and discharges it, achieving the goal of accelerating the grinding of fine particles and dispersing aggregates. After grinding and dispersing, the material is separated from the grinding medium by a dynamic separator and flows out from the discharge pipe. In addition, the cylindrical part of the horizontal conical sand mill is equipped with cooling or heating devices. The machine uses zirconia beads as the grinding medium, which are easy to clean, have the highest hardness, and are more wear-resistant. The grinding effect is very good. When the feed particle size is less than 450 microns, the discharge particle size can reach below 1 micron. However, the inner cylinder wear of the sand mill is relatively large. This machine can achieve large-scale continuous production, greatly improving quality and reducing costs.

Maintenance and upkeep of sand mill:

1.When the machine is running, the circulation of lubricating fluid can be detected through the sight glass and pipeline, and corresponding measures can be taken.

2. Check the circulation of cooling water.

3. The lubricating oil of the steel ball inorganic transmission should not be lower than the centerline position on the oil label.

The entire machine should undergo a major cleaning and maintenance approximately once a year.
