The planetary vacuum mixer is a high-performance mixing device that achieves efficient and blind spot free mixing through a composite motion of "revolution+rotation", and eliminates bubbles and prevents oxidation in a vacuum environment. It is widely used in high-precision manufacturing fields such as new energy, electronics, chemical industry, and medicine.

1、 Core working principle: planetary motion+vacuum degassing

The name of the planetary vacuum mixer comes from the movement of its mixing blades - like planets revolving around the sun while rotating on their own axis:

Revolution: The stirring blade rotates around the central axis of the mixing drum, carrying the animal material to circulate as a whole;

Rotation: The stirring blade rotates at high speed, generating strong shear force and dispersing agglomerated particles;

Vacuum environment: After sealing the equipment, evacuate it (usually ≤ -0.096MPa) to effectively remove small bubbles from the material and avoid oxidation reactions.

This three-dimensional composite motion can completely eliminate the problem of "dead corners" in traditional mixing, and is particularly suitable for the uniform mixing of high viscosity, multiphase (solid-liquid, paste liquid) materials.

✅  Typical application scenarios: lithium battery slurry preparation, conductive adhesive mixing, cosmetic emulsification, ceramic slurry defoaming, and other processes that require extremely high uniformity and purity.

2、 Main types and structural characteristics

  1. Single planetary mixer: one mixing shaft, simple structure, low cost, low to medium viscosity materials, laboratory trial

    2. Dual planet/triple planet mixer with multi axis coordination, equipped with low-speed mixing blades and high-speed dispersing discs for high viscosity materials such as battery slurry, sealant, and ointment

Key components:

Stirring paddle: frame type, Fried Dough Twists type, butterfly type, etc., some of which are equipped with a wall scraper to automatically remove the residues on the inner wall;

Vacuum system: built-in or external vacuum pump, real-time monitoring of vacuum degree;

Control system: PLC+touch screen, supports multi speed programming, forward and reverse control, and data recording;

Material requirements: The part in contact with the material is made of 304/316L stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.
