Longjun
The vertical stirring ball mill is a grinding equipment designed for processing various solid materials into fine particles. It is suitable for chemical minerals, chemical gold extraction industry, metal powders, rare earth materials, coatings and paints, inks, hard alloys, refractory materials, non-metallic minerals, ceramic powders, and magnetic materials. This equipment integrates mixing and grinding functions, allowing materials to be processed in a single cylinder without pre-mixing preparation, which streamlines production workflows for commercial operations.
Longjun manufactures this series of ball mills with stable performance across different models. The product line includes liquid ball mills and dry powder ball mills, with both vertical and horizontal configurations available to meet diverse industrial applications. The vertical mixing ball mill allows direct addition of main materials into the jacketed grinding cylinder. Other ingredients in the formula that require only slight grinding can be added to the cylinder at a later stage of the process. This flexible feeding method accommodates different material properties and processing requirements, enabling precise control over the final particle size distribution.
Electric, pneumatic diaphragm pumps or hose pumps are used for material handling. These pumps operate at low pressure and high flow rate, continuously moving and sucking materials during the mixing process. This promotes continuous circulation of the slurry, accelerates ball milling and crushing, and produces a relatively uniform particle size distribution. The same pumps are also used for unloading the processed materials, eliminating the need for separate discharge equipment.
The equipment uses a reducer and motor belt transmission system, which provides a soft connection between components. This design avoids the direct motor starting associated with cycloidal pinwheel reducers, significantly reducing operational noise and ensuring smooth machine operation. The transmission system is engineered for consistent performance over extended production periods.
To meet the requirements of various industries, multiple material options are available for parts that come into contact with the processed materials. These options include polyurethane, stainless steel, manganese steel, zirconia, ceramics (alumina), and edible rubber. Each material is selected based on its compatibility with specific processing materials, ensuring product purity and preventing contamination.

The vertical ball mill can process a wide range of materials including dyes, paints, floor paints, papermaking materials, pesticides, chemical minerals, metal powders, rare earth materials, inks, hard alloys, refractory materials, non-metallic minerals, ceramic powders, and magnetic materials. Different contact materials are available to ensure compatibility with each type of processed material.
Main materials can be directly added to the jacketed grinding cylinder, while secondary ingredients can be added later during the process. Electric, pneumatic diaphragm pumps or hose pumps are used for both material circulation during grinding and final discharge of the processed slurry.
Grinding media should be loaded according to 40% to 50% of the cylinder volume. The recommended milling medium size ranges from 3 mm to 10 mm for all models of vertical ball mills.
