When operating the Z-type kneading machine, safety regulations come first. Let me help you sort out the key steps and precautions to make your operation more reassuring.

1、 Preparation before startup

Security check:

Confirm that there are no debris inside the equipment, the pulley cover is securely fastened, and the gearbox gear oil level is between 1/2 and 2/3 of the oil level gauge.

Rotate the rotor by hand to confirm no abnormal noise or friction.

Check if all safety devices (such as emergency stop buttons) are functioning properly.

Personal protection:

Work clothes, safety helmets, masks, goggles, and protective gloves must be worn.

Equipment inspection:

Check the heating system (such as thermal oil and steam pipelines) for leaks and ensure the safety of the circuit.

Confirm that the cooling water system valves are closed and the water pump direction is correct.

2、 Startup and operation

Start:

After confirming that there are no people inside or around the equipment, turn on the switch.

Observe whether the no-load current and mechanical transmission are normal, and stop the machine immediately if there is any abnormality.

Feeding:

It is strictly prohibited to feed or adjust during machine operation.

Use specialized tools for feeding and avoid hand contact with high-temperature or corrosive materials.

Feed according to the formula sequence, control the temperature and speed.

Mixing monitoring:

Monitor the material status through the observation port and adjust the speed and temperature in a timely manner.

Excessive speed can cause splashing, while high temperature can lead to deterioration.

Vacuum degassing (if required):

In the later stage of mixing, start the vacuum pump after the material temperature stabilizes.

The vent valve must be closed before starting the vacuum pump.

3、 Shutdown and Cleaning

Unloading:

Stop the pump, open the vent valve, open the cover plate, and flip the cylinder body to unload.

Cleaning:

Immediately clean the cylinder body and rotor residue to prevent hardening contamination.

Blow the pipeline clean with steam.

Shutdown:

Turn off the heating and cooling systems, and finally disconnect the main power supply.

4、 Key safety precautions

It is strictly prohibited to adjust, overhaul or reach into during operation.

It is strictly prohibited for metal foreign objects to fall into the cylinder body, as it may damage the equipment.

Prevent burns during heating, do not touch the transmission parts.

It is strictly prohibited to close the vent valve without vacuuming to prevent positive pressure explosions.

Insert the safety pin before opening the lid to prevent hydraulic failure.

Keep the work area clean and free of clutter.

5、 Daily maintenance

Lubrication: Regularly check and add lubricating oil (grease).

Inspection: Regularly check the tightness of the belt, fasteners, steam pipes, and seals.

Maintenance: Pay attention to gear engagement during the initial use of the new machine, and regularly check the transmission components and heating system.
