Customized Sigma Kneading Machine Solution (sigma blade mixer)
Sigma blade mixer is designed to meet the production needs of high viscosity materials such as silicone rubber, butyl rubber, and hot melt adhesive. Customized Z-type kneading machine solutions need to comprehensively consider material characteristics, process requirements, production capacity targets, and automation levels to ensure that the equipment matches in terms of mixing uniformity, defoaming effect, discharge stability, and maintenance convenience.

1、 Core configuration suggestions
1. Mixing system: Z-shaped/∑ - shaped blade combination design
Blade type: Adopting a double blade structure with Z-type as the main and ∑ type as the auxiliary, suitable for shear dispersion and overall flipping of high viscosity materials.
Speed configuration: Dual axis reverse rotation with different speeds. It is recommended to use fast propellers at 42-48 RPM and slow propellers at 25-30 RPM, with a speed ratio of approximately 1.9:1, to achieve efficient shearing and material circulation.
Installation method: Priority should be given to intersecting installation, with a clearance of about 1mm between the outer edge of the blade and the cylinder wall to enhance the distribution and mixing effect, especially suitable for paste like and high viscosity liquid materials.
2. Cylinder body and material: All stainless steel vacuum sealed structure
Material requirements: The material contact part is made of SUS304 or 316L stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance, easy cleaning, and meet food and pharmaceutical production standards.
Structural form: W-shaped double semi cylindrical mixing tank, jacket design supporting electric heating, thermal oil or steam heating, temperature control accuracy up to ± 1 ℃, suitable for different reaction temperature requirements.
Vacuum performance: Equipped with a vacuum system, the working vacuum degree is ≤ -0.094MPa, effectively removing bubbles, improving product density and consistency, especially suitable for the volatilization process of silicone rubber and hot melt adhesive.
3. Discharge method: screw extrusion is the main method to ensure continuous and stable operation
To address the issues of fast cooling of hot melt adhesive and high residual butyl rubber, it is recommended to use double helix screw extrusion to achieve continuous discharge and no dead corners cleaning, avoiding the phenomenon of "raw material accumulation in the feeding mouth".
Optional 400 mesh detachable filtering device and automatic scraper cleaning system can be equipped to improve the purity of the rubber material and the efficiency of material replacement.
4. Transmission and control system: Hard tooth surface reduction+variable frequency speed regulation
Adopting a combination of hard tooth surface reducer and variable frequency motor, it runs smoothly, has low noise, and has overload protection function.
Configure PLC automatic control system to monitor and record key parameters such as temperature, speed, time, viscosity, etc. in real time.
