Working principle of high shear dispersing emulsifier:
The high shear mixing emulsifier relies on the precise coordination of a claw structure rotor and stator that can rotate at high speed, with bi-directional suction, to subject the material to a comprehensive effect of shear, centrifugal extrusion, liquid layer friction, impact tearing, and turbulence in the precise gap between the rotor and stator, thereby achieving the effects of dispersion, grinding, and emulsification. The dispersion and emulsification process of the slurry in a high shear mixing emulsifier is roughly carried out in the following four steps:
1.When the rotor rotates at high speed, centrifugal force is generated, causing the pigment slurry in the middle part of the rotor to be thrown out radially. The pigment slurry outside the working area is simultaneously sucked into the working chamber from the upper and lower feeding areas of the working head through the axial direction.
2. The strong centrifugal force throws the pigment slurry radially into the gap between the stator and rotor, while being subjected to centrifugal compression, impact and other forces, causing the pigment slurry to initially disperse and emulsify.
3. At the outer end of the high-speed rotating rotor, strong hydraulic shear, tearing and collision are formed to fully disperse, emulsify and crush the pigment slurry, and then it is ejected through the stator slot. The pigment slurry is continuously ejected at high speed in the radial direction, and under the action of the container wall, the direction of the pigment slurry changes, forming two upward and downward liquid flows that flow towards the upper and lower feeding areas of the working head. After several cycles, the dispersion and emulsification process is finally completed. In addition, considering the particularity of chemical processes, emulsifiers and dispersers can be equipped with devices such as variable frequency speed regulation, heating, cooling, pressurization, depressurization, and vacuum to achieve perfect mixing and emulsification effects.
In general, specifications below 110 are equipped with mobile hangers, and the emulsifier can also be designed and manufactured as a lifting type. The lifting type can generally be divided into mechanical lifting or hydraulic lifting.
